SHORT COURSES / WORKSHOPS
All our courses are conducted in small groups or privately on a one-on-one basis in a nurturing, positive environment, and scheduled on an individual basis to suit your and the instructor’s availability. On confirmation of the course date and payment of a deposit, the date is locked in, and any preliminary information will be sent to you.
Training times vary depending on the course and are usually ½ day or full day sessions. Please note that for some courses with maximum participants, the course duration may be slightly extended. All materials for the training will be supplied including light refreshments, a comprehensive manual and certificate upon completion.
Training is available in both our Centres located in Werribee and Ballan.
REIKI COURSES
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a laying-on of hands healing technique thousands of years old. It is a very simple, yet powerful technique that can be easily learned and applied by anyone. Reiki means Universal Spirit of Life, or Universal Life Energy, the energy that is all around us and continuously flowing through us. Yet this flow is uneven for many reasons. The stresses and tensions of daily living and our thought patterns combine to create blocks and imbalances in the flow. These blocks are reflected in the body and can manifest as malfunctions or disease. Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy, at the same time boosting the immune system of the body. In so doing, it clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way, promoting the body’s ability to heal itself. The Usui method of Reiki is taught at The Centre.
Reiki – Level 1 Certificate Course
Beginners, 10 hours as a full day or 2 half day workshops. In this course you will attuned to the Reiki energy, enabling you to give yourself and others Reiki treatments. During the course a majority of the time is spent on practicing techniques and giving and receiving Reiki, and also learning energy enhancing techniques to strengthen your own intuitive guidance. Reiki – Level 2 Certificate Course
10 hour workshop (as a full day or 2 half days): Prerequisite: Level 1 Expand your Reiki experience by learning the Reiki symbols and distance healing. Meditation techniques for personal and spiritual development are furthered. Completion of this level enables you to become a certified Reiki therapist. Bookings essential. Cost $250
Reiki – Masters Level Certificate Course
10 hour course, Prerequisite: Levels 1 and 2 Complete your Reiki learning by becoming a Reiki Master. This will further enhance your Reiki healings and enable you to teach Reiki to others. Cost: $400
Reiki Refresher Courses Course duration 4 hours. Level 1 and Level 2 available.
For those who may have learnt Reiki in the past, but are not confident in their skills or who feel the need to review their learning, these practical workshops will allow you to hone your skills and receive another attunement. Bookings essential. Cost $120
Reiki Circle – Practice group
An opportunity to practice your Reiki skills with others in a relaxed, supportive environment. Regular sessions available – please phone for times.
